My headlight's plastic lenses are foggy and dull looking. My son noticed it too last time he visited the house. So, I went to the auto-parts store to buy one of those cleaning kits just to find out they aren't cheap. So I did a little surfing and found out that if you use toothpaste or baking soda to get pretty close to the results of those cleaner kits.

Here is what I did:

1. Dampened a soft cloth with water
2. Added toothpaste to a small bowl
3. Applied toothpaste to lens with cloth and rubbed with a circular pattern
4. After a few minutes I rinsed and repeated if needed

It worked ok; I’ll try the baking soda next time.

Regards, Dave
