A wooden wheel believed to be the oldest in the world has been discovered in Slovenia. The wheel was found in 2002, about 12 miles south of the capital city of Ljubljana, and is now displayed in a museum in the city. Using radiocarbon dating, researchers estimated the age of the wheel to be between 5,100 and 5,350 years old.
