Did you know that humans shed about 200 million skin cells per hour? These cells eventually make their way into household dust. While this may not sound particularly pleasant, it's important to note that a study by the American Chemical Society found that a skin oil called squalene can actually help reduce indoor ozone levels by up to 15%. So, while skin cells may be a main ingredient in household dust, they can also have some beneficial effects.
