A woman from West Virginia was reunited with her lost wallet after 55 years when it was found during renovations at the former Fayetteville High School. The school, which closed in 2019, was being converted into apartments by contractors New River Contracting. The wallet, which had been lost at a school dance in 1968, fell out of some ductwork that had been sealed shut for decades. The owner of the contracting company, Bradley Scott, used social media to locate the wallet's owner, Sharon Day, using the information and photos inside. The wallet also contained other long-lost items, including admission tickets to a boxing match.
