Subject: Fw: Florida woman fights off attacker in apartment complex gym
A Florida woman has fought off an attacker in her apartment complex gym, with the whole thing caught on camera. Nashali Alma, 24, fought off Xavier Thomas-Jones, 25, as he attempted to grab her waist, chased her around the gym, grabbed and pinned her down. Alma continued to fight Thomas-Jones off while attempting to call 911. He eventually released his grip on Alma, and she immediately ran out of the gym to a nearby apartment. Thomas-Jones was arrested less than 24 hours later and faces charges of sexual battery, false imprisonment and kidnapping. Alma had opened the door to the gym for Thomas-Jones because she had seen him in the gym before.
