In June 1990, a British Airways captain was sucked halfway out of his cockpit after the airplane's windscreen blew out during a flight to Malaga. Captain Tim Lancaster miraculously survived the frightening incident because a flight attendant held onto his legs and trousers belt and his co-pilot making an emergency landing.
